Daily Mail 04/10/2011
Well it's been a while since I have heard some good news today but waking up and looking at the front page of the Daily
Mail that changed. After tremendously painful years of torment.......Amanda Knox is freed. Yes the breaking news that will surely be spreading around the internet, work, emails, maybe even personal letters, T.V. and more is Amanda Knox is freed. To which I am delighted as a believer of her Innocence. But alas...I did really think after I read about this appeal that she would not be freed and Italian prosecutors seemed so determined of her Guilt. Yet I read she said she was not even at the place of the murder at the time. I am glad she is safe and can hopefully begin the long road to being able to sleep safe and sound at night again or to sleep at all. I do feel sad though...why Britain or America or any other Country who claim to be strong..did nothing to intervene. Start a war in Iraq. Tick. Save a young girl and at the worst accidently start a war with Italy? No Tick. But why? I pity those who call themselves leaders but are not. Bold leaders will make everything there business, help the innocent and bring them to a safe home no matter what. This went on for 4 years. Britain for a start should of demanded her freedom. What kind of powers do leaders have that they are bounded by distance...borders. |
this is a fantastical blog post bazza...not a spoof one this time :P I was reading it in the Sun too. don't you wonder why she changed her story though? when she was first questioned 4 years ago, she said she was there when Meredith died. now she says she was not there and only heard of her death afterwards...anyway the bottom line is that they now have their daughter back, but Meredith's family do not.
ReplyDeletePeace. (never completly in this case)
oh Thankyou. I hadn't thought about that actually. I saw this bit on The Guardian just now:"After the verdict I asked her 'So what really did happen that night?' and she said exactly the same thing she has always said – 'I was at home with Raffaele'. Now the first thing she wants to do is stretch out on green grass," he said. I'm not sure why she did change her mind...although of course she might not of done and it was a mistake in quoting or something else, or a purpose mistake someone made. Well yes no peace. I hope she can try to find some though..but if she was guilty she shall live forever with the memory of killing her best friend, but she's innocent and so she will still live with the memory of losing her best friend, so both people died that day. And Amanda's family will have to wait years to get their daughter back, if ever.
ReplyDeletethat is soooo true well done barry bee, even though Amanda is still here, it's still like a life for a life because either way Amanda's life has been damaged. and both their families. also, you know what mags and papers are like for taking things out of context.
