Todays new review is one which I think you will find very interesting and useful. Ear defenders! Yup tired of those neighbours drilling at 8am? (I know I am). Is it magic? No. But please join me for an honest review. The link below is of the type I bought and at a similar price (Although because postage was a fair bit, I simply bought two pairs for around £10 resulting in free postage and a spare pair).

First of all! 1. Do they work at all? (Or for me). Yes

On my head they definitely do provide an easily noticeable decrease in talking, shouting, crash of plates, drilling and well pretty much all noises, to some degree. However they can be a bit tight on your head. There is a way to tighten and untighten them however given the nature of the way in which they work, to function and seal of your ears understandably the device is tight. The cushions do help and once you get used to them it is not so bad. A tip for you though is to combine them with in-ear earphones, yes! My combination of them with ear defenders on top practically drowned out ALL sounds for me! Brilliant! However if you want this to help you sleep..well I found it difficult to wear them laying down, although in-ear earphones may be much easier which is my next point. Those type of earphones on their own provide great protection! So why buy defenders? Well even on their own sound does still get in..however finishing it of by sealing the area with ear defenders gives the final protection to help work quietly. In-ear earphones can be bought from a few pounds or even cheaper! Altogether, for under £10 you could be sleeping easier, working easier, or whatever it maybe. Often I find myself just using the ear defenders and sound will come in but to think all the time before I was putting up with this sound, giving me headaches, disrupting sleep and so on..so it is a massive improvement for me! Give them a try :) I definitely am grateful for the invention, I find them uncomfortable for bed but for daily living..they are genuis! Thankyou for reading :) Stay tuned for more reviews.
