So Pokemon news has been...well it's not Pokemon news! It's so big that it simply is THE news or at least in the gaming world.

Another generation has crept up on us still staring at Black and White 2 in the shops. (Yes Black 2 and White 2 but either makes sense, one is to refer to the games individually, my way refers to what they are-sequels/continuations of a kind to those that stood before- Black and White).

But for fun and partly as X and Y will be out soon believe it or not (You will understand my deadline in a minute) I wanted to share with you the day Xatu gave me prophetic powers. Or Blaziken rolled the boulder away from the cave of coincidences.

One that I remember- Black and White!

Years and years ago, perhaps even back when the only Diamond and Pearl games were two Gameboy Colour game covers edited (Actual games may of been created even) and this was late 90's-2000's when I saw it first and I still find those covers spooky, I said there would be Black and White. There was cries of "No" for eons but to cut it all short- ultimately I was right :)

Now before we go onto my next point, I just want to say before Black 2 and White 2 came out I did not suspect they would if you get what I mean. I was actively trying to work out what colour would follow them up as had been tradition to do, whether or not I thought Grey like others, I do not remember.

Yet to be revealed-

Pokemon X. Pokemon Y. Ok I am sure I am not the only one but that is irrelevant. I would not be surprised if a sequel of kinds was released called Pokemon Z. However odd sounding that may be to us right now. You might say the deal now is to do 2 sequels, I disagree. While it all worked out good and I see no rushed work, I believe that was unintentional or rather not Gamefreaks original idea but with hinting they came up with it or someone else did for them. Why?

Think about it. As soon as I saw the Nintendo Direct with Satoru I immediately suspected it. NEVER has this cycle been broken. Ok changes come, go, sometimes stay but I remain unconvinced it was not to do with finance. The 3DS was struggling and while Pokemon would of been successful regardless, to make sure people were playing it on a "loved" system they extended a generation which all makes sense now if you look at the timing and appearance now of X and Y. Admit it Nintendo ;)
