SOCIAL EXPERIENCE
Yes that concept, but today I am not talking about the concept. Oh no. Allow me to enlighten your unenlightened minds for you are missing a trick here, or two if your name is David Blaine, whoever he is... I am actually refering directly to the website- www.socialexperience.co.uk. Ohhh Barry does not refer random websites you cry!?! But rest easy my bewildered and slightly tipsy friends for this is no random website, this is a social website that I am genuinely fond of.. Why? Ohhh I came prepared! Yup. Here is 100 pages on why I.. oh.. the first page has been chewed by our rabbit..it's ok.. just the introduction! Second pa....ahh... thi...no...maybe fourth...no....10th...er....er..ok...on with random thoughts then! (More fun that way).
I joined sometime this year if memory serves correctly (which it can occassionally) as a result of my never ending quest to meet and befriend more people and of course...if that blessed thing called love...was to arise from a mystical lake.. then who am I to deny it's hold? So in theory it could be a win win situation. The score wa...oh wait. That's the score card for me and David Cameron from our last Badmington match (Well what did you think he did? Run the country?). I lost there but with Social Experience I have not. I have sent some messages and hopefully will get some replies soon, I have in the meantime been talking to a really nice girl there who helps set the websites theme of friendliness..and...ease of what you want..and....well go and see for yourself! Seriously, I personally find the website so easy to navigate and well you can say there are glitches on lots of sites (I genuinely am not aware of any on mine but no doubt there are, if so please let me know!) but websites like Facebook can get very buggy! So this is a great platform for chatting. Ok I have a laptop less than one month old and Google Chrome which when fast is fast but for me each page loads swift with no problems at all. Recently I have found a lot of websites, some with no flash content, just forever loading but not ever finishing yet other websites load fine. But I didn't get that with this website so well done there, it seems really well made. Unlike Facebook.. Ok, lots of visitors doing all sorts on Facebook, half of them trying to bring the site down no doubt.. (Well I have been trying my best, honest!) .. but on this website I have not had dissappearing messages like I still get regularly on Tagged.com and sometimes Facebook. I don't get notifications when there are no messages like Facebook used to do to me. Now this post is not about rubbishing Faceb...well actuall....er...shh.. it's not! Facebook can be good, although I find it often slow-slowish, I have grown to like the wide picture you can now have behind your profile picture and some other features, although I hate the layout of timeline, items side by side instead of on a row..but oh well.. Different minds different ideas. Just look at my own websites. So here we have someone elses ideas and I think they have done very well.
You can sign up for an account and;
Chat in the chatroom,
Visit other peoples profiles and add them as a friend or send a private message
And of course add details to your own profile so people can see what you want, share anything you want to and try to impress anyone you want to if you do that kind of thing. Me? Noo.. I don't even know the meaning of the word flirting ;) Is that a new sport? But seriously, if you would like a new girlfriend in time or a new friend to meet or someone to chat to online and share ideas and daily things or any other of the countless options go ahead and give it a try on that website, and be yourself always :)
By the way you can search for people too and filter by distance and age, you might find someone nearby to you, I actually found someone pretty near and have I sent them a message.
Plus I am pretty sure there will be more cool features added in the future :)
I love that I can message people fast, REAL people and not get messages from scammers, Yessss those darn pesky critters infect websites faster than Windows Vista brought the world to a standstill, so the prescence of them is not the sign of a bad website, ohh no, Facebook is not alone in that however unfortunately at the moment both Tagged and Facebook get a lot of them. In Absolute PERFECT timing I genuinely have one contacting me right now, typical! I'll paste the screenshot;
It's one of those generic messages..as her name at the bottom isn't even her Facebook name! They are getting sloppy aren't they... (Also, I have yet to find someone who ends up writing as much as I do so that's a clue :P) This is what annoys me all these scammers so I am definitely happy to go to another website to chat, what do you have to lose? Who knows what cool new friend you might meet. (Well I am joined so there is at least one awesome person right there :P)
As always, I love making new friends so if you want to talk to me on here, there or anywhere please do.

Like I said before, what do you have to lose? Sign up and get chatting! Or I shall resort to telling you about the time I defeated Paypal by spamming them and we all know that's a very long story ;) (I assume, I've not made it up yet :P)
Thankyou for reading :) Have a nice day and weekend!
Barry regrets that due to budget issues Barry can no longer understand why he keeps writing random things at the bottom of his blog and mentioning unrelated issues as though they were the cause and talking about himself in the third person and now commenting on it. Confused? Try Confused.com. No actually better not. You might enjoy it more than my blog.
(The Barry foundation was contacted to ask for approval of this blog post but sadly there is no such thing as The Barry foundation so we could not contact them, we did however leave a letter with Royal Mail)
(Well it's not like Royal Mail actually send you your letters so what difference does it make? :P Me-1 The Royal Mail-0 Keep track)
