Ok, so it is still a little cold here in Britain. Well very cold in some places. So dig out some money from your bank account and find some DVD's to watch! Relax, some of these may cost a few pounds or less! :) Enjoy! Please comment about any dvd's or blu-rays you want to share or anything else at all!

Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary;
I actually started covering this in a previous post which hopefully you can see if you scroll on down past this one but this Dvd contains the 50th Anniversary of Doctor who, an episode that aired last year in the United Kingdom. Doctors were appearing more times than in a hospital (That comparison actually turns darkly accurate if you refer to the terrible shape some of our hospitals are in such as Queens in Romford, however it is wrong to just stick to one side, there are of course brilliant hospitals here as well, one in particular that despite me having a lot of issues with in various ways, helped me change my life) and Daleks were so high in number they must of been "breeding" faster than rabbits. Take a look. Go on. :)
Dragonball Z: Rock the dragon. Ok this does cost MORE than a few pounds but I bought it from Amazon recently and fell in love with it so I wanted to show it to you all haha! It was released last year and contains an early dub of Dragonball Z, the one some of us saw as children first on Cartoon Network and then later on Toonami once the channel was created (Yes I do remember that! I am not that old though). While some will salivate at the alleged greatness of Dragonball Kai, while stroking their Dvd's lovingly as they gently place them down onto the pillow beside them to sleep, the "American dub" and the "Ocean dub" are my favourites. I do see some greatness in Kai sure, some of the music and voice acting is brilliant, although obviously not Frieza who was reduced from sounding like a cold hearted, vindictive, beyond help character to someone who sounded too posh to ever rise from his throne and how he did in Kai to face Goku I will never know. I can not even remember how Frieza sounds in this dub! I could look on Youtube but I do not want to ruin the surprise for when I get to those relevant chapters in my Dvd collection. So to help with confusion, there are a LOT of dubs. I referred to one just now as the "American dub" simply because it is more obviously American in voice acting if not other areas too. The original Ocean group dub (Yes again there are variations, they later dubbed later episodes) hired mainly Canadian voice actors (Voice actresses too!).
